The Paradox of the Invisible God

God is His invisible attributes (inherent qualities) (Rom. 1:20) Ergo God is invisible. God is not like ‘The Invisible Man’ who actually had a body that could be made to be invisible to the human eye. God is invisible all the time. We only know He’s there because of what He has done.
The visible God is Jesus. He is the image of the invisible God. (Col. 1:15-16)
As the image of God, Jesus has all the attributes of the invisible God. How do we know this? We know it because Jesus put these attributes into action. Attributes mean nothing if they’re never used.
The paradox is that Jesus is God not because he’s visible or invisible, but because he brings the invisible to light. Jesus is not only God. He is also what God has done.
