The
center of the sun is the metaphorical home of God. It is also the only home of
God, since God does not require a home. As Jesus said, “Foxes have dens, and
birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Mankind has no place to lay his
head.” (Luke 9:58 Holman Christian Standard Bible)
The
center of the sun is the source of light for the solar system. Nuclear
reactions cause hydrogen (the most common element of the universe) to become
helium (the second most common) and the resultant energy travels to the surface
of the sun and leaves it as visible light. “…the blessed and only Sovereign,
the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, the only one who has immortality,
dwelling in unapproachable light…” (I Timothy 6:15-16 HCSB)
Remember
when you look up to the heavens…
