It is axiomatic that a God
who is distant and unapproachable opens the door for another God who is near
and approachable. The former is an absolute God that is not relatable to limited
but intelligent beings while the latter is a God who is not absolute and is
therefore relatable to those same beings. The question is, if God is beyond
understanding, why seek to understand him? If God is a God we can understand,
then that’s the only God we need.
