We ignore the obvious at
our peril. The first obvious mistake is to deny that you are you. This happens
if you ascribe to a deterministic view of life. If you believe in an all
controlling God then, in effect, you are saying that God is you. His thoughts
are your thoughts and your thoughts are His thoughts. Yet, strangely enough for
those who say God controls us, the Bible says the exact opposite.
Another obvious mistake is
to assume that God saves you, but how can God save you if you’re not you?
