Temple on the Move, Part 1

In Old Testament times, the temple for the nation of Israel was always in one place. This place represented God’s Presence and all Israelites who wanted to worship God properly would go to the Temple to do so. This stipulation promoted both uniformity of worship and conformity of thought.
Since Pentecost, because of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, each individual believer houses in his or her body a temple of God. This means that uniformity of worship and conformity of thought are not the primary methods that God, through Jesus, is now making his presence known.
It’s almost as if God wants us to think freely and independently.
